2024-25 U 14 B/BB tryouts
Welcome to
the Hawks U14 B/BB tryouts. I am hoping
all the kids and families are as excited about this season as I am. Many of you know me and I have been involved
with many Hawks teams as well as assist in coaching my daughter’s hockey
teams. If you have any questions please
feel free to ask.
I have been
fortunate enough to be selected for this season as the Head Coach. I get to spend the next season with your child
growing them as players and human beings. Thank-you for your trust in me and the
Coaching Staff.
How you can
help during the selection process; encourage your child to be themselves, do
what they know how to do, try things properly when asked…. if they can’t effort
gets noticed, so don’t do short cuts.
Encourage them to enjoy the process. Please also make sure your player knows the
evaluation process starts as soon as they enter the rink not just on the
ice. I am looking for good teammates and
attitudes as much as hockey skills.
NEED TO KNOW
· All tryout sessions, games and
roster updates will be posted on the team web page
· Team fees will be approx. $1600
· 4 tournaments (one away in hotel)
Hamilton, Brantford Gretzky, London Kadri, and Columbus Ohio
· Hawks dress code for U14 is dress
pants and dress shirts with tie on game days
