CMHA is currently open to applications for the position of Head Coach for the 2026-27 Representative hockey season.
Applications are now open for Cambridge Minor Hockey Association (CMHA) Rep Head Coach positions for the 2026-27 hockey season. In our continued effort to enhance both the competitive and developmental DNA within CMHA, we are excited to share that we're introducing an association-wide structure for representative players next season. With a focus on on-ice and off-ice development, both players and coaches will be supported to elevate their skills to the next level.

- Please ensure that you complete all the mandatory questions marked with an asterisk
- The following additional documents are required:
-Resume that includes your Coach Experience, Coaching Accreditation, and Playing Experience
-One-page Coaching Philosophy Outline
-Age-appropriate 50-minute practice plan that includes visuals, and an outline of why this material was chosen; how it translates from practice to game, work to rest ratio, effective use of ice, goalie incorporation, use of coaching staff and volunteers with clear defined roles, small area games, target skills (passing, skating, offensive zone play/tactics, defensive zone play/tactics)

Interviews will be conducted by a panel of impartial, CMHA Board and non-Board members. Coaching interviews will commence shortly after the application deadline, although not all applicants may be interviewed.
If you share our commitment to player development, we want you to coach with us. We also recognize that individuals come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just technical requirements. If you don't have every single requirement or are not currently a head coach, but the skills and experience needed for the role still resonate with you, please consider applying.
