OHL Experience: Leafs versus Habs
A great time was had by both teams at a fast paced OHL game where the
home Guelph Storm prevailed over the visiting Kingston Frontenac's 4-1.
The kids from both teams were wide-eyed with the pace of the game.
The main event came after as the Habs and Leafs played an exhibition game.
It was a great experience as the teams stood on blue lines for the anthem, had music played during lulls in play and had their names announced after goals and assists. It was a close match at 3-3 after the 2nd period and well played by both teams. In the 3rd period, Tyler Spieglehalter put the Habs on his back and finished out the game with 3 goals and 3 assists. A very impressive performance. The Leafs had notable performances from Braeden De Man with 2 goals and Conor Jones with a nifty break-away goal and an assist. Everybody had a great time and kudos to the Guelph Storm staff for ensuring we all had fun.
