Hawks Shutout 99ers
On Saturday Nov. 19, the Bantam Hawks travelled to the new Gretzky Centre to take on the 99ers. In what was a physical, (and somewhat chippy/dirty affair) the Hawks managed to skate away with a 3-0 victory. Earning the shutout was Owen Savory who saved his best for last thwarting a late charge from the 99ers.
Scoring for the Hawks were Brett Wilson, Paul Morra, and Nathan Bastian. Assists went to Morra, Bastian and Parker Wood.
The Hawks now have a break in league play and head to the Kitchener Blue line tournament this weekend where they open against the same Brantford 99ers
