Minor Midget, 2011-2012, A/AA (Cambridge Minor Hockey)

8 players, ahh no problem.  With a lot of hard work, lots of ice, maybe a bit of good luck, solid goal tending our players worked as a team to earn a win over Hamilton! Congratulations team, keep the momentum going! A solid effort brings success!

With the help of Santa and some really hard work from the boys, we get our first WIN last night! It was a hard fought game, penalties were flying, but our boys never gave up and with all that hard work they earned this win! Thank you to the coaching staff for their patients and hard work with the team, success always follows hard work! Merry Christmas everyone! To help with the heavy eyes and grumpy boys Thursday mornings, we have changed the Wednesday night practice to 5:30-6:30pm, Ayr arena.  If anyone needs help to get their player to the arena for this time, please contact myself or Linda and we will try to arrange a ride within the team.

This hockey season the Minor Midget Team has rostered many players who are new to the A representative team level and new to each other. The coaching staff are endeavouring to foster teamwork, as well as develop the skills and strengths of all players. As the team goes through their growing pains during the season, we encourage all players and their families to maintain a positive attitude and support the goals of the team as a whole. Positive attitudes off the ice transfer to on the ice. !GO HAWKS GO!
