Major PeeWee, 2016-2017, B/BB (Cambridge Minor Hockey)

The tryouts are over and our team is now set.  Congrats to those 17 players that left everything on the ice and survived our tryouts.  To those that fell a little short, please be proud of what you were able to accomplish. I want to thank you for your wanting to be a part of this team. I will be coming to some of you to add to our team by being our AP players.

We are now down to the the last 23 players.  To those that were released today again I thank you for your commitment to this team and look forward to seeing throughout the year at your games.  I really appreciate your effort and your willingness to put yourself into such a fierce competitive situation.  

We have now listed those players going forward to the 3rd tryout.  I want to especially thank those that were released today.  I want you to know that we appreciate what it takes to put yourself out in such a competitive environment.  I hope that this season is your best hockey season yet.

Another great day for the Major PeeWee MD team.  The players seemed to pick up the pace and show some great effort and skill.  The 31 skaters are making it hard on our evaluating committee and that is what we hope for as coaches.  We have a real competition going for the goalie positions as well.  Having said that, everyone going forward to tryout#3 needs to show the evaluators that you can go to another level.

WOW!!!!!  Lots of players out for our tryout #1.  Amazing efforts on the ice.  Thanks everyone that wants to be a part of our team.  Remember that not only are we looking for the best 15 skaters and 2 goalies but also our AP players throughout the season.
