Novice, 2010-2011, Select (Cambridge Minor Hockey)

Wait a minute - it has been forever!  Over a month!   These kids sure gave us a good show though.  What a way to come back.  They played their hearts out.  We are all so proud of them.  I can't wait to see them in action again this weekend. GO HORNETS!!!!

Two nice wins followed by a loss to the Georgetown Raiders.  We wanted that win so bad.  It would have been especially nice to win on our home turf, as the Raiders haven't lost a game yet. However, we held our own very well, considering the Raiders haven't lost a game yet. 

It was a great game to watch, and most of the mom's actually left the warmth of the viewing area to stand in the cold in the arena to cheer and hear the game!  We outshot the Wolves 17-9 by my count, but just couldn't get it past the goalie and into the net.  It was a heartbreaking loss, but close.  Great game kids, you worked really hard.  You'll get them next time!

The Hamilton Huskies couldn't get the puck past us once again as our two awesome goalies managed another shut out.  Way to go Anthony and Jacob!  Mind you, the rest of the team did a great job of not letting the Huskies even get more than 2 shots on net the whole game.  Way to go team!  That makes 4 wins in a row for us.  Nice job! Congratulations to the player of the game - Scott
