Hawks take home GOLD at the Belleville Jr Bulls Shriners' Tournament
The Minor Bantam MD Hawks take home the Gold Medal in there first tournament of the year at the 62nd annual Belleville Jr Bulls Shriners' tournament last weekend going undefeated with a great team effort. The hawks met up against a strong Oshawa team in the final game who which they tied 3-3 in round robin play but this time the players stuck to there game plan. At the end of the 1st period it was 0-0 but Cambridge kept pressuring and scored 3 unanswered goals to take a 3-0 lead after 2nd. The 3rd period had both teams exchange goals with Cambridge coming out on top with a 4-1 victory. GREAT JOB HAWKS.
