The Minor Bantam Hawks travelled to Markham this weekend for the Fall Classic Tournament.
Unfortunately the Hawks found themselves on the losing side of the scoreboard for the first three games, going down 5-2 to the Toronto Young Nats, 4-2 to the Eastern Ontario Wild and 5-1 to the Nickel City Sons. A much delayed game finally got under way Saturday night against the Ottawa Valley Titans, and the Hawks wanted to come away feeling good about something. Scoring one goal per period and giving up none lead the Hawks to a 3-0 victory and a chance to smile.
Back to the grindstone this week guys. A bunch of league games ahead.
