The Hawks played three games this past weekend, and unfortunately, penalties seemed to have a say in the outcome of two of them.

A good back and forth game started the weekend against the Kitchener Rangers, but as the game drew to a close, knotted at 2-2, a penalty allowed the Rangers to score late and steal the game.
Hamilton was the city we found ourselves in on Saturday, and the Hawks were able to eek out a 1-1 tie, the lone point for the weekend. This lead to a Sunday game in Waterloo and as the game wound down, with the Wolves up 2-1, again penalties ended any comeback hopes and Waterloo ultimately scored again to win 3-1.
